إن 4 brushed stainless steel finish, also referred to as No. 4 satin finish, is a directional polish with fine, uniform brush lines running across the surface. Created through mechanical abrasion using abrasive belts, this surface is known for its elegant matte sheen, moderate reflectivity, and resistance to fingerprints and scratches—making it ideal for both architectural and functional applications.

This finish is smoother than 2B but not as reflective as mirror-polished stainless steel. The brushing process creates a surface roughness (Ra) of approximately 0.4–0.6 μm, giving it the signature satin appearance.

The No.4 finish features a basic brushed texture with directional grain, suitable for practical applications; if you prefer a finer, longer, and more continuous grain effect, choose Hairline; for a softer, matte appearance with no obvious grain direction, opt for SB.
