Hammered bronze metal stainless steel sheet in matte or mirror finish, warm-to-weathered bronze tones, PVD coated. Grades 201, 304, 316.

Hammered bronze metal stainless steel sheet carries a dimpled, hand-struck texture pressed into the surface — an irregular pattern of shallow indentations that catches light differently from every angle. Combined with the warm bronze PVD tone, the result reads as handcrafted rather than machine-flat: the kind of surface that hides fingerprints and light scratching by design, since the texture itself breaks up reflection and wear marks. For the full process breakdown and answers to common questions about hammered stainless steel, see our Hammered Sheets page →.
Matte styles (pressed onto a vibration base) stay low-glare and blend in; mirror styles (pressed onto a polished base) catch light in every dimple and read as a feature. Colors lean toward an antique, retro palette — mostly water-plated copper tones, along with PVD-coated bronze. Every batch has its own character — browse the styles below and let us know which one you'd like a sample of.

Hammered texture already reads as retro and handcrafted on its own — bronze's warm, antique-leaning tone doesn't compete with that, it reinforces it. The same dimpled surface in a bright or cool-toned color can read almost industrial; in bronze, it reads as vintage character instead, which is why bronze is one of the tones most often paired with hammered finishes in architectural and interior work.
Hammer depth and dimple size can also be customized to your drawing — deeper, larger dimples read bolder and more rustic, while shallow, fine dimples read more refined and subtle. See Hammered Sheets → for the full range of depth and pattern options.
ammered bronze sheet is specified for feature walls, elevator interiors, column cladding, and furniture panels where a handcrafted, tactile surface is part of the design brief — as well as high-traffic surfaces where hiding scratches and dents matters as much as the look. As a direct supplier working straight with the mill, we support both coil and cut-sheet orders with no MOQ, so you can order sample quantities before committing to a full run.
