Basic coil finishes: No.1, 2B and BA.

Every basic finish comes in 200, 300, 400 series and duplex coil grades. Pick by appearance and by where the part will be used.
No.1 finish stainless steel coil
Silver-white, dull

No.1

Hot rolled, heat treated and pickled. For industrial tanks and chemical equipment.

Why choose whole finish stainless steel coil?

Uniform color

The whole coil is coated in one pass, so every sheet cut from it matches. Ideal where panels sit side by side, such as architectural facades and interiors.

Flexible sizes

Coil can be cut to any length and slit to any width after coating, to fit different panel layouts and design patterns.

Lower unit cost

Continuous coil processing costs less per square meter than coloring sheet by sheet, an economical choice for large projects.

Vivid, high-gloss colors that keep the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of stainless steel. Suitable for normal stamping and deep drawing.

Which mill finishes do you supply on coil?

No.1, 2B and BA, in 200, 300, 400 series and duplex grades.

Why color the full coil instead of single sheets?

Coil-based polishing and PVD coating keep the color uniform across a large run and lower the energy and cost per unit compared with sheet-by-sheet processing.

Which grades and thicknesses are available in color?

201, 304 and 430 in 0.26 to 1.11 mm, on 2B or BA base coil, in 1000, 1219, 1240 and 1500 mm widths.

Can colored coil be stamped or deep drawn?

Yes. The colored surface keeps the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of the stainless steel and suits normal stamping and deep drawing.
