BA Stainless Steel Sheet and Coil, Direct from Top Mills

Bright annealed stainless steel is heat treated in an oxygen-free atmosphere, so it comes out of the furnace with a smooth, bright, mirror-like surface and no scale. It is durable, striking, and the top choice of substrate for decorative panels, and it can be polished further to a No.8 super mirror.

BA or 2B?

Bright for looks, matte for work.

2B suits industrial and economical uses, with lower gloss and roughness. BA suits high-end and decorative uses, with a mirror-like effect and higher reflectivity.

Choose BA for appliance panels, kitchen equipment, decorative panels and as the base for super mirror.

Choose 2B for industrial parts and surfaces that should not show fingerprints.

What is a BA finish?

Bright annealed: cold-rolled stainless steel annealed in an oxygen-free atmosphere, so the surface stays bright and smooth with no scale.

What is the difference between BA and 2B?

2B is matte and economical for industrial use. BA is bright and mirror-like, for high-end and decorative use.

Is BA the same as a mirror finish?

No. BA is bright but less reflective than a polished mirror. It can be polished further to a No.8 super mirror.

Which grades are available in BA?
