These finishes go a step further, adding physical depth to the surface. Rather than just replicating marks on a flat plane, embossed and etched textures recreate the cracking and surface flaking that brass develops over decades of age — the raised and recessed areas pick up the coloring differently, so the texture itself carries the aged look, not just the color on top of it.

Every aged brass sheet can be cut to your project's required dimensions. The degree of oxidation and coloring can also be adjusted on request, along with the hand-applied mottling and blackened patina effect — giving you control over how light, dark, or heavily aged the finish appears.

Stainless steel starts with a grey-silver base surface. Different levels of polishing and oxidation coloring produce varying depths of brass tone and finish character on the same base material — which is why every aged brass sheet is a one-of-a-kind, custom result.

Our production process:

1. Start with the customer's specified stainless steel grade (201 / 304 / 316) as the base
   
   
2. Apply oxidation coloring to achieve the antique brass tone
   
   
3. Create the aged texture using one of two methods:
   • Etching — builds a raised, tactile pattern beneath the patina for genuine dimensional depth
     
     
   • Standard process — produces a flat, weathered patina pattern on the surface
     
     
4. Hand-finish the surface to refine the mottled, aged character
   
   
5. Apply a protective clear coat to lock in the sheen and slow further oxidation
