Hammered brass sheet on a stainless steel base.

Our hammered brass sheet is stainless steel with a hammered texture pressed into the surface and a brass tone applied on top — the warm gold of brass on a strong, corrosion-resistant stainless steel sheet.
From bright to dark brass: classic brass with a bright gold shine, through aged, antique, vintage and rustic tones to dark antique brass. The hammered dimples catch the light at different angles, so the brass tone shifts as you move past the panel.
Matte or mirror base: a matte base gives a soft, low-sheen brass; a mirror base gives a brighter brass where every dimple reflects.
Water plating or PVD: some brass tones are water plated, others PVD coated. Which one applies depends on the sample you choose and what your project needs — we'll recommend the right route.

Where hammered brass sheet is used.

Hammered brass sheet brings warmth to kitchens and hospitality spaces: range hoods and backsplashes, bar fronts and counter fascias, cabinet and wardrobe doors, reception desks, elevator interiors, and feature walls in hotels, restaurants and boutiques. What buyers ask before ordering hammered brass sheet.

Is hammered brass sheet solid brass?

No. It's stainless steel (201, 304, 316, 430) with a brass tone applied over the hammered surface — the brass look on a stainless steel sheet.

Is the brass color water plated or PVD?

Both are used. Some brass tones are water plated, others PVD coated — it depends on the sample you choose and your project requirements. Tell us where the sheet will be installed and we'll recommend the right one.

Matte or mirror base — which suits my project?

A matte base gives a soft, low-sheen brass that suits calm interiors. A mirror base gives a brighter brass where light catches in every dimple — better for statement pieces like bar fronts and feature walls.

Which grade should I choose?

304 suits most interior uses. Choose 316 / 316L for coastal or high-humidity environments. The hammered texture itself doesn't affect corrosion resistance.

Is there a minimum order?

No minimum order. Order sample quantities first, then scale up to coil or cut-sheet orders for the full project.

How is hammered brass sheet installed?

For walls, cabinet doors and ceilings, sheets can be bonded directly with a construction adhesive — no welding or visible fasteners, so the hammered surface stays clean. For larger panels or structural applications, we can advise on framing and mechanical fixing.
