10K and 12K mirror strip, a diamond-like shine.

Mirror strip falling short of your standard? Ultra-precision polishing goes beyond a standard precision polish. Our 10K and 12K strip is our premium surface, used in aerospace, military equipment and high-precision instruments, where a very high finish keeps friction and surface defects to a minimum.

What thickness range do you supply?

0.05 to 3.0 mm, slit to the width you need.

Which tempers are available?

Soft, 1/4H, 1/2H, 3/4H and H. Tell us the hardness or the forming process and we match the temper.

Which grades do you supply as precision strip?

201, 301, 304, 304BA, 316L and 430BA, and other grades on request.

What are the equivalent standards for each grade?

201: AISI 201, EN 1.4372, JIS SUS201, GB 12Cr17Mn6Ni5N. 301: UNS S30100, EN 1.4310, JIS SUS301. 304: AISI 304, EN X5CrNi18-10, JIS SUS304, GB 06Cr19Ni10. 316L: AISI 316L, EN 1.4404, JIS SUS316L, GB 022Cr17Ni12Mo2. 430: AISI 430, EN 1.4016, JIS SUS430, GB 1Cr17.

How flat is the strip?

The mill uses thickness control and tension leveling to keep flatness at micron level, with no ripples or unevenness.

Do you supply mirror strip?

Yes. 10K and 12K mirror strip for uses that need a very high surface finish, such as precision instruments.
