Stainless steel speaker shells and panels.

Our focus is the large, visible stainless steel surfaces of a speaker: the shell and the panels. That is where finish quality shows, and where a supplier makes or breaks the look.

Enclosure shells

Wrapped or bonded over the cabinet. The full metal look of a premium stainless steel speaker, with the acoustic box built inside.
Best for: Bookshelf, desktop and design-led home speakers.

Front and rear panels

The faces customers see and touch. The color, texture and surface quality of the stainless steel carry the brand.
Best for: Front baffles, back panels, control panels, logo plates.
Also supplied: perforated grilles, trim rings and small fittings, in the same stainless steel grade and finish as your panels, so every metal part on the speaker matches.

Same color, same texture for every batch of stainless steel speaker panels.

Premium audio buyers judge a stainless steel speaker by its surface before they hear it. A shell and panel set must look like one piece, and the next order must look like the last.

Same color, every batch

PVD tone can drift between runs. We keep your approved sample and its LAB values as the master and match every repeat order to them, so a stainless steel speaker built this year matches one built next year.

Same texture, every panel

Directional textures such as hairline and satin must run the same way across the shell and panels. We cut panels with the direction marked, so assembled parts line up.

How do you keep PVD color consistent between small batches of stainless steel speaker panels?

By matching every batch to one approved master sample and its recorded LAB color values. Most speaker brands cannot order a year of material at once; they order a test batch, read the market, then reorder. Each reorder is a new coating run, so it has to be matched to the first one on purpose, not by luck.
We color in-house. Besides keeping your approved sample on file, we record its LAB values, measure every new coating run with a colorimeter and check it against those values before cutting. Color is checked by data, not only by eye, so every repeat order comes back the same tone as your first batch.

How do I choose the color and texture for stainless steel speaker panels?

Pick the color to fit your brand and product line, then the texture for how the panel is seen and handled.

Satin, hairline and bead-blasted textures hide fingerprints and light scratches, so they suit panels people touch.

Mirror gives the strongest reflection but shows every mark, so it works best on accents. Etched and embossed patterns add a signature look to a front panel.

PVD colors are available on these bases, and an anti-fingerprint coating can be added to any of them.

Finishes

Four checks before you buy stainless steel for speakers.

Get these right at the drawing stage and the panels arrive ready to build.

Will a stainless steel speaker enclosure ring?

Only if a thin stainless steel panel is used bare as the acoustic box. Use stainless steel as the skin instead: bond it over an MDF or plywood cabinet, or add a damping layer behind it, and let the inner structure do the acoustic work. For the shell and back panel, 1.5–2 mm stainless steel sheet is the best balance: thick enough to hold its shape and avoid a metallic ring, light enough for portable, desktop and other non-floor-standing speakers. In this build, flatness and finish matter as much as thickness.

Which stainless steel grade: 304, 316 or 430?

The grade decides where a stainless steel speaker panel can live and for how long. Use 304 for indoor speakers and 316/316L for outdoor, poolside or coastal installs; salt air and chlorinated water can pit 304. 430 costs less and is magnetic, which suits indoor parts such as magnet-mount grilles, but it is less corrosion resistant.
Choosing the right grade is half the job. Receiving it is the other half. 304, 316 and lower grades look identical, and the wrong one only shows itself when it rusts months later. Every order ships with a mill test report whose chemistry matches the batch you receive.

Will the stainless steel parts be laser cut, bent or welded?

Tell us before you order: the grade and the protective film both depend on it.
Bending: choose 304. It is ductile and bends without cracking; 430 is harder and can crack at tight bends. Confirm the bend radius on PVD panels too, since a very tight bend can show fine cracks in the coating at the fold.
Laser cutting: specify laser protective film. Standard film melts, bubbles or lifts under the laser and assist gas, leaving glue residue and burn marks on the edge. Laser film stays bonded, leaves a clean cut, and keeps protecting the colored face from die marks during bending.

Welding: choose low-carbon 304L or 316L. Standard 304 is more prone to corrosion next to the weld, which can show as rust along the seam months later; the low-carbon grades avoid it.

Can I start with a small test batch of stainless steel speaker panels?

Yes. Order enough for a test run, read the market, then reorder. Each repeat order is matched to your approved sample and ships with a mill test report.

01 · Send your spec

Drawing or panel list with grade, thickness, finish and quantity. If the stainless steel sheet will be laser cut, bent or welded, say so here. No spec yet? Tell us the speaker and the look you want.

02 · Approve a sample

We send a finish sample in your color and texture. Once approved, it becomes the master for every batch.

03 · Test batch

A small first order to build and test with your market.

04 · Repeat orders

Each reorder checked against the master sample's LAB values, inspected for surface defects and shipped with a mill test report.

Stainless steel speaker panel FAQ.

What speaker brands ask before ordering.

What is the minimum order?

It depends on the product, color and texture; check the product page for the one you need. Send your panel list and we confirm quantity and lead time with the quote.

Can you match the color of panels we already have?

Yes. Send a physical sample of your current panel. We match the PVD tone and texture and send a sample for approval before production.

What thickness do you supply?

0.15–3.0 mm. Tell us the part and we suggest a thickness for it.

Do you also supply stainless steel sheet for speaker grilles?

Yes. We supply grille sheet in the same grade and finish as your panels, and can perforate it to your hole pattern.
