Black mirror finish stainless steel is a fully reflective, high-gloss surface — no grain, no texture, just depth. Mirror-polished stainless steel (8K–14K ultra-gloss) sits under the black coating, so the surface reflects like true glass-mirror rather than the muted sheen of a brushed or hairline finish. 

Black mirror comes in two coating routes — the two black mirror stainless steel coil finishes we offer — and they don't produce the same black:

• Water-Plated Black Mirror: a chemically plated (wet-process) coloring process. Produces the deep, conventional black most buyers picture when they hear "black mirror" — richer, more saturated, closer to true black.
  
  
• PVD Titanium Black Mirror: a vacuum-deposited coating over the same mirror-polished base. The black reads lighter and more translucent — closer to a tinted black laid over a bright mirror than a true deep black — but the higher reflectivity underneath makes the surface itself more luminous.

Base coils come from our TOP partner mills (Lisco, Tisco, Jisco, Posco PZSS, Yongjin, Hongwang) before undergoing surface finishing and coating in-house at our Foshan facility. 

Every sheet and coil ships with protective PVC film from Polifilm (Germany) and Novacel (France). Adhesion level is matched to your downstream process — strong enough to stay in place through laser cutting or stamping without gas pressure lifting the film and causing edge blowout, but not so strong that it leaves residue when removed.
