7WL stainless steel is an embossed / stamped diamond-pattern sheet, where precision rolling molds press large, high rhombus (pyramid) shapes into the surface at a deep profile. The deep emboss gives bold geometric diamonds with a wide pitch, a strong architectural look, real surface grip, and reduced glare, while still concealing fingerprints, fine scratches, and everyday wear. It suits elevator interiors, wall cladding, feature walls, commercial fixtures, and anti-slip panels on industrial equipment, platforms, and machine covers. The diamond scale can be customized.

Produced from coils supplied by well-known major mills in China, our 7wl textured stainless steel combines stable quality, consistent pattern definition, and reliable performance for both architectural and industrial projects.

Guidance to Choose a Right Size for Your Embossed SS Sheets

Before purchasing, you should estimate the overall weight of the finished decorative sheet and the load-bearing capacity of the application area to avoid overloading.
Since decorative sheets are primarily used for aesthetic purposes, a smaller thickness is sufficient, which not only saves costs but also meets the requirements. Whether for indoor or outdoor use, the ideal thickness range for stainless steel decorative sheets is between 0.5mm and 2.0mm.

Sheets thinner than 0.5mm are too fragile and can be easily damaged during handling and manufacturing.
Sheets thicker than 2.0mm are difficult to process and challenging to use in practical applications.

Are 7WL and 7GM the same thing?

In our range, yes — 7WL and 7GM refer to the same deep diamond pattern. Note that some suppliers use these codes differently, so always confirm against the actual sample image.

What's the difference between 7WL and 6WL?

Same diamond/water-drop shape. 7WL is deep, large, and bold (most 3D of the family); 6WL is shallow, small, and dense.

How is 7WL different from 2WL, 5WL, 7DL, and 15DP?

By shape. 7WL (with 6WL) is a diamond / water-drop mesh pattern. 2WL and 5WL are ripple / wave patterns. 7DL and 15DP are round-dome (dot) patterns (both round; they differ by dome size, density, and depth).
